Miss Zoe Trigg, Head of School
Our Head of school has a proven track record of senior leadership within Hampton, and was seconded from Hampton Vale Primary School to Hampton College as an Assistant Head to set up the Foundation Stage in 2012 when we became an all- through school.
Zoe’s previous leadership experience as a founding member of Hampton Vale Primary School provided her with the enthusiasm and flexibility to work in unique situations, and prepared her to always expect the unexpected! This coupled with eight years’ experience as a teacher moderator with Peterborough Local Authority for the Foundation Stage Profile ensured a comprehensive understanding of observation based assessment with Reception children.
Mrs Katie Steel, Deputy Head of School
I have joined Hampton Lakes as Deputy Head of School and SENCO, bringing with me a wealth of Primary Leadership Experience, having been an Assistant Head at two Peterborough schools. I am deeply passionate about inclusion and supporting both children and their families to overcome barriers and challenges to ensure each individual can meet their potential.
I am experienced in teaching across all year groups and believe that all children deserve the right to a broad and engaging curriculum which gives opportunities for all learners to meet their potential and find their own passions be it reading, mathematics, sport or music.
I am really excited to join the Hampton Lakes Team and cannot wait to take the school on its journey from good to great.
Mrs Helen Lloyd, Early Years Foundation Stage Lead and Butterfly Class Teacher
As an experienced early years practitioner with a considerable amount of leadership experience. It is my aim to provide the children I teach a high quality education based purposeful play. I strongly believe that as an early year's teacher it is important to create a learning environment that develops children's interests, teaches them new skills and also embeds what they already know.
I feel privileged and very lucky to have the opportunity to create an amazing early years setting at Hampton Lakes Primary School.
Mrs Sarah Mastin, Caterpillar Class Teacher
Early years Education is everything to me! Although I have experience in all primary year groups, my heart has always been in the Early Years Foundation Stage (where my education career started back in 2012 where I was Mrs Lloyd’s Teaching assistant!) Due to this passion, I embarked on a journey of my own learning by undertaking a degree in Early Years and Education, followed by doing my Teacher Training with Pen Green Research Centre.
As a teacher, I am dedicated when it comes to providing an enriched curriculum that is safe, secure, rich and exciting. Alongside this, I am passionate about offering children the chance to develop their independence and resilience by creating a learning space that is fun, engaging and celebrates each and every child.
I am extremely excited to be part of the Hampton Lake School Community and look forward to the journey ahead.
Miss Rebecca Cave, Teaching Assistant
For as long as I can remember I have always known that I have wanted to work in education, especially in primary education. I believe that children learn best when they enjoy what they are doing and I strive to make learning fun and meet individual interests. I would love to give every child a sense of accomplishment and pride in what they do and learn. I am experienced in working with children with SEND and I am delighted to share my specialist experience within a mainstream school.
