Year 1 had a roar-some time on Dino Day!
We loved our workshop with the Travelling Natural History Museum, meeting Trixie the Triceratops, learning about carnivores and herbivores, holding real Triceratops teeth, stomping like dinosaurs, and finding out how sauropods munch and crunch their leafy meals.
Back in class, we made dinosaur bookmarks, handprint dinosaurs, clay fossils, and ammonite drawings, before ending the day with a t-rex-cellent story, a cookie, and a drink.
A truly dinotastic day!
