Happy World Wildlife Day! To celebrate this special day, children across school have been making bird feeders to bring home. It would be lovely to see pictures of them in your gardens. Daisy and Kingfisher class with bring theirs home next week to allow their clay pots time to dry!
Each class has made extra bird feeders which have been put outside. Can you spot any around the field? We hope this encourages more wildlife onto our school grounds.
If you would like to continue celebrating World Wildlife Day at home, here are a few activities that you could do:
- Read a book about wildlife
- Go for a walk about count the number of animals you see
- Create your own animal fact card activity to play with a grown up
- Investigate which animals are endangered and what we can do to help them
- Monitor your bird feeder outside
Don't forget to enter our competition! If you would like to enter, you need to design a bug hotel. Think about the different materials you would use if you were making it.
