Last week, reception had the wonderful opportunity to plant some runner beans. The extra special thing about these seeds is that they were harvested from last years crop that the current year ones planted in the garden with Mrs LLoyd when they were in reception.
The children worked super hard to learn the life cycle of a runner bean and even learned vocabulary such as 'germination.'
The children will be taking their newly planted seeds home this week and will be keeping us updated on tapestry with how their seeds are growing. How marvellous!
