On Monday, Year 1 immersed themselves in all things dinosaur. They came into school and became Hampton Lakes very own palaeontologists! Children went on a fossil hunt, learned about the different types of fossils, created fossils using salt dough, cooked dinosaur egg nests, painted dinosaur silhouettes and Mrs Mastin turned into a real-life dinosaur and read a story to the whole year group! It was a fun packed day, and the children and adults enjoyed it thoroughly!
