Year 6 Writing Has Begun!
Today, Year 6 pupils explored an engaging story opening about a Victorian chimney sweep. Using the text as inspiration, they developed their writing skills by improving and enhancing the author's work. The children incorporated relative clauses to add extra detail and used short, impactful sentences to create dramatic effect and build tension for the reader.
